I have two DJI Pocket 3 cameras. I’m a super fan of this camera when used in conjunction with the wireless DJI Mic 2. The mics(2) both pair seamlessly with the camera. The Pocket 3 is super compact and it’s the same ecosystem as my DJI drones so there is was little learning curve, if any. But is it as good as those expensive Sony cameras where I’d have to learn a whole new ecosystem on how to use and set up the camera? YouTube comparisons tell me the Pocket 3 is very close and even better in some ways. The downside to the Pocket 3 is that I need to use an OSBOT UVC to HDMI converter (add $169 per camera) when I’m using it with my camera switcher for multicam recording and livestreaming. I’m spending less, it’s much more portable which is a big deal for me traveling with multiple cameras through an airport to a regatta.
