Take your clinic to the next level

Making clinics better and more engaging

Let sailboatinstructor.com co-sponsor your next clinic

Many regattas offer Friday clinics as part of their event. I can incorporate drone footage into a clinic and make it more fun and appealing. I can also record high quality video on shore with wireless mics. While the experts are coaching, I can provide clinic experts with extended reality (XR) glasses and wireless mics so the experts can see the drone feed while we record the coaching and analysis in real time. In many cases I can have videos queued up for the on-site debrief and already uploaded to YouTube shortly after racers get off the water.

Clinigatta 2025 Saturday Debrief

Casual discussion on boat-handling topics

The Clinigatta is hybrid that is part clinic, part regatta. It's basically a regatta where the rules are changed to allow on-the-water coaching and allow coaches to jump in/out between races. It's fun an popular event. Following the racing on Saturday, coaches shared some obversations at the dinner party.

2025 Midwinters - High Wind Clinic

After the racing was cancelled for the day due to high winds, Tyler and David disucussed some best high-wind practiced following the previous day's high-wind experience. The wireless mics really make a difference on a high-wind day and the information was great and worth being able to hear well.

Brian Hayes Clinic at Lake Eustis Sailing Club

A last-minute effort on my end, but it came out great

Brian Hayes Clinic at Lake Eustis

55th George Washington Birthday Regatta

Brian Hayes from North Sails put on a great clinic at the Lake Eustis sailing club. Just before the clinic he invited me to help with filming. I recorded the shore portion with a wireless mic and capturing some drone footage for the debrief. We did not record coaching in real time on the boat, but we still produced a great video with a lot of great information.

Virtual Clinics

Don't let all that great video footage go to waste!

If you have discussion-worthy video footage from your event, we can help you produce a virtual clinic with up to 10 panelists. These clinics can be recorded and published or can be promoted as a livestream so viewers can type in questions and comments and interact with the panelists. In our experience, so much great video footage goes to waste because there isn't enough time to organize and identify the best clips from large video files at the event. With this approach, you can upload your videos to YouTube, take the time you need to review the footage following the event, provide us with the video link and time stamps that you feel are discussion-worthy, and let us do the rest. With this approach you can offer higher quality debriefs following the event, invite outside experts, and enjoy more quality time with friends at the event.
